Biography

In the beginning of the year 2000, bassplayer Maurice and vocalist Raymond decided to form a brutal death metal band, with some black metal influences.With drummer Guido and guitarplayer Renée the line-up was complete and the rehearsels began.After a few rehearsels, vocalist Raymond left the band due to personal problems.Soon after Raymond had left, new vocalist Ronald from Phobiac joined the band. His vocals added a new dimension of brutality to the band.With the new line-up, Aratron did a couple of succesful gigs in the erea of Dordrecht and soon the band started to get an underground cult status.The plans were made to record the first demo, but at the day of recording, the producer failed to show up.The band decided to record the demo in the rehearsel room, but the sound quality turned out really horrible, so these recordings were never released as a demo.After the recordings, the band did a few more gigs, but more problems started to face Aratron.The personal music taste of the members started to cause more and more problems, which let to the break-up of Aratron at the end of 2002.In the winter of 2008, Maurice called Ronald to start again with Aratron.Drummer Arnold joined them and with this new line-up the band started writing new songs.After a few months and a lot of horrible auditions, guitarist Snoek joined the band. Snoek also played guitar in Sobek and with him the band did a lot of great rehearsel recordings. Unfortunately, only after a few months Snoek already had to leave due to personal problems.In december 2009, guitarist Tibor joined the band as a session member, and with him, the band started recording their first demo.You can find the rest of this fine piece of history in the 'news' section.
